  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data directly on their secure hosted pages. See Stripe's privacy policy for details on how your payment data is processed.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — Hosting and data storage for the platform
  • AI model providers — Processing of website data to generate audit results and pitch decks

We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising networks. We also operate a first-party affiliate program using cookies (see Section 9).

9. Cookies and Tracking

PitchGen uses first-party cookies solely for our affiliate referral program — to credit partners who referred you to us. We do not use third-party analytics cookies or advertising trackers. You can manage or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing affiliate cookies will not affect your account or service access.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for the following periods:

  • Account data (name, email, profile): Duration of active subscription + 30 days after cancellation
  • Audit results and pitch decks: Duration of active subscription + 30 days after cancellation
  • Payment and billing records: 7 years from the transaction date (required for tax and financial compliance)
  • Support and communication data: 2 years from the date of the communication
  • Technical logs: 90 days

You can request early deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@pitchgen.io, subject to data we are legally required to retain.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will:

  • Notify affected users without undue delay, and where feasible within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach
  • Notify the relevant data protection supervisory authority where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR Article 33)
  • Describe the nature of the breach, categories of data affected, and steps we are taking to address it
  • Provide guidance on steps you can take to mitigate potential adverse effects

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age (or 13 in the United States under COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 13. AI Training Data and Opt-Out

We may use anonymized, aggregated audit and usage data to improve our AI models and service quality. We will not use your personally identifiable information, your account details, or your specific individually identifiable audit reports to train AI models without your explicit consent. If you wish to opt out of having your anonymized data used for AI model improvement, please email support@pitchgen.io with the subject line "AI Training Opt-Out."

14. Automated Decision-Making

PitchGen uses AI to analyze websites and generate audit reports and pitch decks. These outputs are informational only and do not constitute automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on users. Users should review all AI-generated content before acting on it. We do not use automated profiling to make decisions that significantly affect your legal rights or interests.

15. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
